We had a wonderful time celebrating with the Riggins side of the family. We went to Little Rock and stayed at the Peabody. We all loved seeing the ducks walk down.
If you look closely you can see that the boys both got into the whiskey at the rehearsal diner. Well... the box.
The bride and groom had a big time and looked great. Cade and Price didn't mind posing for pictures. Cade did however think that it was he and Anna Marie that were getting hitched. He wanted to dance with her all night. I think this is his first crush. To bad they are related but, hey we are in Arkansas.

This is our 1st family girs weekend. Mom(Marion), Amy ,Krista and me had a great time together. We are pretty goos shoppers as you can see. The bags are two days of us all shopping tell we dropped. Mom got us some great sunglasses and we all got to have our makeup done. A great weekend together.

8-2009 Great Wolfe Lodge

What a wonderful time we had at Great Wolfe Lodge. Mum came with us to see all the smiles. She isn't in any pictures due to swimming suits and not wanting to be in trouble. :) Lots of great fun & food. We went the week that school started in the metroplex and had the run of the place. No waiting for anything. It was the way to go! cade keeps asking to go back.

I have taken Cade year round for swimming
lessons once a week for three years, so.... now Price gets to go. Hopefully he will learn the skiills he needs and have lots of fun. cade hated going at first but now loves it. Time will tell how Price will do.

Merry Christmas! What a great time we had at Memaw and Granddad's. You can tell from the picture selection that we should have taken more pictures. It is what it is. We were having to good of a time.

Cade's #3rd birthday party was a blast! He was made king for a day! What a sweet boy he is. We keep waiting for the terrible 2's,3's, etc., but we guess he waiting for high school because he is still very kind hearted. He still likes for us to kiss ever bo-bo, hugs ans kisses as well as snuggles threw out the day. Of course we will do boy things, stomping on bugs climbing and making a very good mess. I know that he will have a wonderful 3rd year.

Price's very first birthday party! We had friends and family over to the house for the big celebration! I can not believe that he is already one. WOW! It goes so fast. We have had a great year. Price is such a good baby. We look forward to the joy he will bring to our lives. So far he has not made me swear off any more little Riggins. He is very lovable and almost always has a smile on his face. I will say on this day he was a little less than impressed. I think he was a little overwhelmed.

Thank you God for this wonderful child! WE pray for many more happy years to come!

Loving being a Mom!

We have had a wonderful stay home day. I really enjoy just hanging out and relaxing. Well some relaxing. Mostly I got to find Cade. He has been in to hiding and wanting me to chase him. We have lots of fun! Price even gets dragged along. He smiles and giggles as Cade and I play around. It's funny how a memory comes back. As I hear Cade saying tickle me again, tickle me again. I can rember rolling around with my Dad and saying the same thing. :)

Price had his 9 month check up on Friday. He has slowed down: 21.13lbs That's not even 2 lbs in three months. He has been very active (army crawing for about 1 month),put that with the lower calorie food and you get less weight gain. He is still our chunky monkey. Unlike his big brother he enjoys to eat anything we give him. Cade still doesn't eat much but is growing like a weed. I cleaned out his closet today and couldn't believe how much he had outgrown. It makes me happy and sad.

Wow this amazing job of mothering is sure rewarding! I enjoy each and everyday! Sure I need to take a breath and some me time every once in a while but... This is the greatest job I have ever and will ever have. I am so thankful that God has given me such precious gifts! Of course it helps that I have an amazing support system! God has placed so many amazing family and friends in my life! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Love you all!

The Circus July 31st 2008

The Circus was so..... Much fun. John, Cade and I meet up with Evan, Eunice and Cooner. Cade enjoyed seeing all of the clowns and animals. Although when we ask him about it he says I had ice cream.... So I guess that was his favorite part. He also had some cotton candy for the first time that I know of... We left Price with Mum and Pop but I think he will be up to it next year! Cade went fot the first time last year and we decided that we would make a yearly event. Im not sure who enjoys it me or Cade? We all had a great time!

We got a lolly for being such a big boy while getting our hair cut.
This is Nemo # 2 our new fish. Cade has really been enjoying him. Nemo # 1 didn't make it. We went to eat after we got him and he was accidentally got drooped. Oops. The trauma was to much for him. When Cade went down for his nap Daddy and cousin Price went to go get us a new one.

A special visitor

John's cousin Price came to see us while he was on leave. We keep him in our thoughts and prayers daily. It's hard having him so fare away but we are very thankful to know that many men and women like him are helping our keep our county safe. And yes this is who our little Price is named after. Cousin Price and Pop (John's Dad)

Price loves to jump in his jumper-roo. He usually goes in while we are eating diner. We somehow have to keep him contained or he will get away from us. He enjoys going into the bathroom.???? Not sure what that's about. I think he knows that's where he shouldn't be.

Cade is still being a great bis brother! This is pictures from his latest hair cut. We take him to a cool cuts for kids which as you can see is great for Dad. I still can't believe that he got John's curls. He is very into "I'll do it by myself " Which is great unless we are in a hurry. He is still very much a snuggler and still plays with mom's hair daily.

The Aquarium

On Monday we went took the boys to the Dallas Aquarium for a family day. Cade loved getting in and out of the stroller to see everything. I would say don't take a stroller if you can help it. John and Cade went to see many things with out me and Price. Price was in the sling being carried but hey the stroller held all the stuff. It was a great day! As you can see by the last photo it was also a good nap day!

July 13,2007 ~ Cade woke John up with a smile and a card that he made. After cooking Daddy a big breakfast, we spent the day shopping for a new tool box. We loaded up the double stroller and away we went. Then it was time for naps and then to Mum and Pops for diner.We really enjoyed the day.Cade especially loved the cake.

John and I are visiting Ryan and Yuriko in Austin so I have had some time with out the kiddos to work on our blog. :) The boys are with Mum and Pop (John's parents) having lots of fun I am sure. It has been hard leaving Price for the first out of town trip. We miss them both but,we have been having a great time. Today we even got to get out on the lake. I think it's been over a year since we have been out in a boat. Mostly we have been eating and getting to visit with Ryan and Yuriko. I forgot how pretty it is here. We have done a good bit of driving around looking at houses. Hopefully this will assist us in getting ready to build our house in Lucas.

Busy Summer

Hello everyone! We have had a busy last few weeks. Price has gotten his first teeth. This has made things a little hard on Mommy but we will survive. He has finally started to sleep most nights. Cade has been having a great summer. He loves the water and anything that is out side. He is still a snuggler and love him Mommy. :) We have been missing Mum (John's Mom) the last few weeks. She has been sick. Wow you learn how much you really need someone when they are not there. John just got back from a "Man trip". He had a great time with the boys. If anyone is ready for a girls trip let me know. I am in need or I at least need some sleep.:)

I have decided that I can ... I can... I can... do this. I so much enjoy seeing what everyone has been up to. So... I thought I would let you all see what the Riggins have been up to. Our week has been a good one lots of friend time and time outside. Wednesday was MOPS, Thursday was playing at Wendy's. Yesterday we got to spend time with Carrie and Jackson and last night Joe, Riley, and Amber with baby Landry in her belly came over for diner. We left the boys with the kiddo's and went to a southern living party at Blair's. We like to keep busy! I try to have something planned for most of the days in the week. Mum(Becky- John's Mom) helps out allot. She comes many Tuesdays and most Thursdays. Which keeps Mom in good working order and helps Cade not have to run many errands.
Both of my beautiful boys are doing great! Cade is a wonderful big brother to his now almost 6 month old brother Price. Price weighing in at 19lbs and Cade not yet making it to 30lbs. I will work on posting pictures and keep our new blog updated.
